Imperfect Spiral

This last blog on imperfect spiral is just gonna be on my last and final thoughts on the book.This book is so good,I loved the way the Author started the book!She starts it off with Danielle being all mopy and depressed 😭😔😞 Then after the first chapter Danielle has to give a report to a police officer and she kept saying what she knew,  but everything else was a blurr.Then she has memories of when Humphrey was still alive and they had all these great memories.My favorite part in the book was the last chapter the reason it's my favorite part of the book is because the author ends the book on a good not where Daneille remembers her last day with Humphrey not the sad part where he dies but before that where they have fun in the park,when Humphrey throws an almost perfect spiral,When they decide to take a break from playing and wait for the first star to show which they ended up seeing and Humphrey was soooo happy he got to see it 🤗 🤗.The reason I love this part is because after everything that has happened to Danielle she ends up remeber the good and being able to move on with her life and helping others in the process.Somya this book was pretty good.😭😭😭❣😁😊👍🙌

Imperfect Spiral

So far in the book Imperfect Spiral Daniella has many Memory Moments,In the beginning she keeps going back to the day she lost her Best friend Humphrey,Humphrey is the cute little boy she started baby sitting over the summer.lets go to her memory,It was a beautiful sunny day at the park,Humphrey and Daniella were tossing the football back and fourth,when t was finally time to go back home it was about 7:45,they were walking on the side of quarry road to be precise there is no sidewalk on quarry road and Himphrey tackled Danielle but she didn't fall the football did and it tumbled into the street and Humphrey ran to go get it but was hit by car.Danielle remembered this a few times and and she remembers good times with Humphrey like drawing and painting with him,she remembers teaching him how to catch a perfect spiral.These are Danielle Snyders Memory Moments.

The one and only Ivan

The One and only Ivan reminds me of the book Room,because Ivan has been in a cage for most of his childhood life.and in Room Jack has been in room since he was born and got out when he was five.Tahat is the first similarity.The second similarity is that both Ivan and Jacks mom (not Ivan's mom)were kidnapped.One difference is that Ivan's mom was killed by the men that kidnapped him and his sister.That right there is another similarity that both Ivan and Jack have,they both lost there older sister.Another difference of Jack and Ivan is that Ivan was sold to a circus type mall thing where people payed money to come and see him either play or draw something.Where as for Jack never saw the outside world and Was in a shed he called Room,no windows and the only way to get out was the door but it had a passcode which only "Old Nick knew.That is all the similarities and differences in the books The one and only Ivan and Room

Can't look away

Some conflict that Torrey Grey has in her life is her little sister Miranda was hit and killed by a drunk driver.She has a conflict with her ex best friend Zoe and she also has internal conflict with herself because she believes her sister is dead because of her,because the day her sister died they had a argument.Blah Blah blah,let me start from the beginning.Torrey Grey is a well known youtuber called Beutystrazz15,she has a million followers and suscribers,She is also very popular in her school and dating the football captain, Cody.Then her sister was killed by a drunk driver and everything went down hill from there?People started criticizing her online,her best friend ditched her,and last but not least she had no idea on how to deal with this whole mess.So her parents (mostly her dad) decided to move to Texas and bury Miranda there because they have family in Texas.But what she is afraid of when she starts this new school is will people know who she is and recognize her as Beautystarzz15.Somone does know who she is and tells the popular propel and she end up sitting it's the cool kids.But is it worth it she likes q guy that the popular kids hate and she is torn from being with him or the popular crowd.That is her internal conflict.Who does she chose? Read the book to find out.

Torrey Grey is a regular teenage girl who just wants to be popular and famous.So she became a famous youtuber called beautystarzz15 she has thousands of followers and suscribers but what if having all this fame got her 12 yr. old little sister hit and killed by a drunk driver.Everyone is writing mean comments about Torrey online and some are writing positive moments and trying to help her out.She ends up moving to Texas where her father has family and Torrey goes to a new school where she is afraid people might recognize her.Someone does.read the story and find out who.

Room

This is a book from the point of view of a five yr. old boy who lives with his mother in  a shed called Room and the mother has lived there for seven years,the reason she lives there is because she was kidnapped by a man she calls "Old Nick".The reason she has Jack is because "Old Nick" used her and she became pregnant but before she had Jack she had a little girl but that little girl died when she was being born because the abilical cord was wrapped around her neck know and she did not survive.So Jack came next a 1 yr later and he manage to survive no he is is barely turning five and still learning.You may think since he doesn't go to school he isn't very bright, he is very smart he a,y not talk like a normal kid but he can talk and say really big words and is a really good speller, here is an example from the book "sure,"says Morris. "Donations are pouring in, about a sack a day". "A sack of what?". "You name it. I grabbed some things at random--" He lifts up a big plastic bag from behind his chair and takes parcels out."You opened them," says Ma, looking in the envelopes."Believe me, you need this stuff filtered. F-E-C-E-S, and that's just for starters.""Why somebody sent us poo?" I ask Ma.Morris is staring."He's a good speller," she tells him.That is just somethings he is knows when people talk about him even if they say his or him something new it.That is all I'm gonna say about this book.This blog is what I like about this book which is that the point of view is from a five yr old boy and he tells the whole story from beginning to end,he tells everything what he does what happens at night when "Old Nick" comes,when the power goes out and they have to sacrifice with no heat and freezing water,He tells when him and his mom make a plan to escape....But does it work if you want to know read the book to find out.So this is my blog about what Imliked about the book.

My final thoughts on love,Lucas,the story was amazing and you never get bored because there is so much emotion and drama.I would give a short summary on the book but I don't want to give away the story because it's so good.But here is a little summary,In the story Love,Lucas a girl named Oakley Nelson loses her brother Lucas to cancer.A few weeks have gone by since the funeral and her mom and dad are having an argument,her mother wants to go live in California with her sister Jo for a few months.When her mom walks into her room she asked  Oakley if she wants to go to California with her and Oakley says yes because she thinks it would be good for her to leave all her troubles and worries behind.Now you have to find the book and read it to see if she gets any better!I hope you do read it because I believe this book relates to a lot of people because many people have a lost a family member and they could have been really close that you feel when you lose them you can't survive but you can just talk about how you feel and move on,keep your head up and don't let sadness take over you life,live it to the fullest.

The Compare and Contrast

Love,Lucas & Since you've been gone

Somethings they have in common is that Ooakley and Emily both lost someone important to them,Emily's in (since you've been gone)  best friend Sloane moved to a different state and she did not tell Emily beacuase she was to sad to tell her and Emily had no. Idea how to deal with the fact of losing her best friend when they were about to have the best summer ever.Oakley in (Love,Lucas) Lost her brother/best friend and had no idea how she would go on living life because she always had h older brother there for help and guidance.

Some of the things they have in common are...

-losing someone very important to them.

-They don't how to feel about losing someone

-They both end up trying new things.

-They both make new friends with people they never thought they would be friends with.

-Both of the people they lost gave them some advice.

Some things they don't have in commons 

-Emily's best friend moved and didn't tell her.

-Oakley's brother Died of Cancer

-Emily does not move anywhere. (Except when she goes to visit Sloane for a day.)

-Oakley and her mom move to California for a different change of Scenery and leave their troubles behind.

-Oakley attempts suicide.

Bystander or Not (Nazis)

I would be a bystander because this was all wrong and I would love to help but I would also not like to get hurt or on the Nazis bad side.That is why I would be a bystander.

Anne Frank

The adversity Anne Frank has gone through is not being able to see sunshine or play and hang with kids her age,and she has to share a room with a man that is in his late fifties.She does not get along with her mother because her mother wants her to be more like her sister but Anne thinks she should be her own person.Actually the only person closes to her age in the little hide out is Peter Van Dann a 16 yr old boy she did not get along with him at the beginning but after a while she started to become friends with him and they would stay in his room for most of the morning and they would just talked about life before they went into hiding and what they would like to do when they got out.

When I was younger we did not have a lot of money and we lived in our grandmas basement which was turned into a little apartment.Me and my sister had our own room and my dads room was in the living room,but when my dads friend started living with us I had to sleep with my sister and he got my room my dad let him stay with us because we needed a little more money so he payed rent and stuff but me and my sister didn't have a lot of clothes or toys so we did do with what we had and took care of our stuff.

Words of the Wiser

In the story Love,Lucas a girl named Oakley Nelson loses her brother Lucas to cancer.A few weeks have gone by since the funeral and her mom and dad are having an argument,her mother wants to go live in California with her sister Jo for a few months.When her mom walks into her room she asked  Oakley if she wants to go to California with her and Oakley says yes because she thinks it would be good for her to leave all her troubles and worries behind.(fast coward through the trip,and Jo's house tour.) When Oakley was in her new room just thinking her mom comes in and gives Oakley a notebook that Lucas had wrote his thoughts and all the games he wanted to tell Oakley before he died.Oakley was just looking at the notebook and she was scared to find out what was in between the pages,she opens to the first page and finds it was a letter from Lucas telling her what the notebook had in it and that she should read one page a day also (here comes the reading signpost) she should not mourn over her brother she should be out living life not moping around the house and being distant because that is going to get her no where and that he would not like to see her like that he would like to see her take up photography and the guitar again and make new friends.After she read that she thought for minute and then changed got her camera and went across the street to the beach to calm down and take pictures.That is the words of the wiser signpost I found in my book.(I'm not done reading it and I may find more Signpost.)

LA is were I want to be,

Were people never sleep,

Beautiful lights and racing cars,

Sights after signs,

Hollywood and Broadway,

The lions of little rock nine

In the book The Lions of Little Rock Nine by Kristin Levine is kinda about a little rock nine but mostly about a 13yr. old girl named Marlee and she live in a time when people still believed that the white and colored students should be separated but Marlee never thought about because she was in a school with no colored people,until one day a colored girl that was not so dark and had straight and hair like Marlee came to the school and became very good friends with Marlee.One day her sister gives her very good advice about friends "Don't find a friend you think will like you,find a friend that has the same interests that you do and will like you for you."

One Crazy Summer

The book One Crazy Summer is not my type of book it is very slow at the beginning and kinda confusing for me it may not be confusing for anyone else who reads it.This book is not like how regular books are written it is written the way the characters talks like a southern accent and the way the pernounce the words are different and I need to be able to understand what they are trying to say for me to understand and keep the book moving instead of trying to figure and get frustrated in what they are trying to say. Here is an example from page one "it was bad enough my insides squeezed in and stretched out like a monkey grinder's accordion" At first when I read this it was confusing because I was like monkeys don't play the accordion (at least the ones I've seen don't.) But still it took me awhile to understand it.Those are some of the reasons I am abandoning this book.

The Swap

What if you switched lives/bodies wit someone else for two whole days?Well that is exactly what happened to Ellie and Jack,they thought about switching lives and how crazy it would be and BOOM they did,now Ellie has to deal with four older brothers and a very strict dad,Jack now has an easy going mom and an ex-best friend for a bully and soccer tryouts.This book kinda reminds me of the Movie "Freaky Friday" we're a mom and a teenage girl switch bodies and realize how hard both of their lives are,A teenage girl with and ex-friend for a bully,A mom with two kids and a very tough job.Both of these examples show that no ones life is easy or perfect,wether if you are a boy or girl,mom or day ,gay or not no ones life is as easy as you think everyone has something going on.Just think about for awhile and try to help even if it's just asking how they are or a shoulder to cry on everything helps.
